HERITAGE:
Custom Cordage, LLC is a Manufacturer of high quality, small diameter braided and twisted products. Started in the spring of 1998, Custom Cordage was founded in Bath, Maine, the location of one of the earliest ropewalks in the United States.

Through honesty and integrity, our goal is simply to become a profitable company by supplying the marketplace with high quality products at competitive prices.

EXPERIENCE:
The Company's two owners, David Bird and Kevin Race, enjoy a unique combination of over 23 years of rope manufacturing and significant engineering experience. Additionally, we are pleased to state that each employee averages over 13 years of rope manufacturing.

CONSTRUCTION FLEXIBILITY:
Our machinery is as varied as our people. We have over 500 flat and round braiders that run the complete spectrum from 8 to 65 carrier construction. We can manufacture single braids, double braids, triple braids, hollow braids, solid braids, and small twisted products.

QUALITY:
The combination of an engineered design manufactured to strictly held tolerances by experienced personnel produces a product that we are proud to call Custom Cordage.
